Local Language Economic Journalism Training

Arutha’s collaboration with Factum continued in the month of March with a special focus on conducting economic journalism trainings for local language journalists, which is a key part of our civic education vision. This included sessions held at the Lake House for Sinhala language journalists of Dinamina and Silumina newspapers, as well as Tamil language journalists of Thinakaran. A session was also held for Tamil language journalists of the Virakesari newspaper. Similar to previous sessions, this included a brief presentation outlining the country’s economic situation followed by an in-depth question and answer session.
